The Hong Kong Q-Mark Silver Scheme

The Hong Kong Q-Mark Silver Scheme covers both product and service certification scheme. Product certification covers care food and other gerontechnology products. Service certification covers elderly care services and catering service for soft meals. Companies / factories in Hong Kong, the mainland China or Macau can join. The scheme aims to certify not only care food or gerontechnology products with consistent quality, but also the quality elderly services providers and catering service providers with soft meals. The Hong Kong Q-Mark Council targets to allow the customers to easily identify and select quality and suitable products or services for themselves. The Hong Kong Q-Mark Council will follow international, national or Hong Kong standards to assess the applicant's product or service quality through product testing or quality audits.

Fee structure
Fees of the Hong Kong Q-Mark Silver Scheme involve (1) application fee, (2) certification audit fee, (3) product testing fee (applicable to product certification only), (4) annual licence fee and (5) renewal fee.
